Beginning Birding Driving Tour—Saturdays, May 1 and May 22 at 9 am.
A Fee of $3.00 per person, children under age 16 are free. Cash or check accepted. Join a Refuge volunteer for a driving tour in the Refuge van to learn how to identify of birds and other wildlife of the Refuge. Call 321-861-0668 for reservations.

All About Manatees- Saturday, May 1 and May 29 at 1 pm
Learn all about manatees with Refuge Volunteers during a photo presentation and hands on manatee artifacts. Call 321-861-0668 for reservations.

Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day at the Refuge Saturday, May 8

Birding Hike and Driving Tour -Saturday, May 8 at 9 am

Birding for Kids -Saturday, May 8 at 1 pm

Junior Birder Discovery Pack Available at Visitor Center: Mon.—Fri., 8 am to 3 pm and Saturdays, 9 am to 4 pm.Check out the Jr. Birder Back Pack at the Refuge Visitor Center which includes bird field guides, binoculars and a Junior Birder Activity Booklet for ages Upon completion, children receive a Refuge pin.
