Public Program - Plant Encounters at the Refuge

The various habitats of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge support a large variety of plants, both native and exotic. Join Refuge Volunteer, Jim Stahl, for driving tour to view and learn about the more common refuge plants -wildflowers, trees, shrubs, grasses, and ferns. The program is scheduled for Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 10 am. Space is limited.

Please call 321-861-5601 to make reservations. The Visitor Center is located on SR 402, 5 miles east of U.S. 1 in Titusville.

Programs are subject to cancellation due to Refuge closures based on NASA shuttle launch/landing operations.
