Celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week at Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge by attending a Florida Scrub Jay presentation by Paula Sisson, biologist for the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Learn some fun scrub jay natural history facts along with the conservation projects taking place to save this threatened species. Take a short field trip to see this beautiful and entertaining bird in its native scrub habitat. The program is scheduled for Saturday, October 18 at 9 am.
