MINWR Volunteer Field Trip

Captain Doug of Space Coast Nature Tours is graciously offering refuge volunteers a free group tour on Saturday, September 23 at 8:15 pm. The tour will be a two hour ride on a pontoon boat exploring nature's night lights, (bioluminescence) and other natural wonders in the Indian River Lagoon. You and a guest are invited. Please RSVP to Nancy Corona by phone or email by Tuesday, September 19, 2006.

If you are not familiar with bioluminescence, it is a spectacular natural lighting emitted by phytoplankton living in the water. We will be meeting at the Titusville marina, located along US 1 just north of Garden Street at 8:15 pm. Go to the second paved parking lot and look for the "Skimmer" pontoon boat.
