Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is proud to present a mixed media wildlife art exhibit at the refuge visitor center. This show will exhibit until March 30, 2007. The local artists used a variety of media including silk paintings, oils, acrylics and mixed media to portray the flora, wildlife and landscapes of Florida. A reception is scheduled for Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 2 pm to 4 pm. Visitors are welcome to enjoy refreshments and mingle with the artists.
