Join MIWA's Environmental Educator Tom Mertins at the Refuge VIC on Saturday, February 7th, 2009 at 1PM for a 25 minute presentation on Florida's own Scrub-jays. Learn about the habits and habitats of the unique species. The program will be followed by a hike on the Scrub Ridge Trail to observe the birds in the wild. Be prepared to walk one mile. Binocs, hat, water, sunscreen, and insect repellant are recommended.Loaner binocs are available. Limit 15 members.
