Meet at the trailhead (Stop 9 on Black Point Wildlife Drive) at 8:00 am. Bring water, bug repellent, a hat, sun screen, binoculars, a camera and snack. Although long (5 miles) this is an easy walk. There are resting benches every mile or so. There is not much shade and depending on the day can be quite windy.
