Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day

Merritt Island Refuge is celebrating the spring bird migration on Saturday, April 8, 2006. Celebrate with us by participating in the following free programs:

9:00 am – Shorebird Workshop (Reservations)
10:00 am – Backyard Wildlife Habitat (Reservations)
10:30 am to 2 pm – Make Your Own Bird Feeder
11:00 am – Bird Watching for Kids (Reservations)
1:00 pm – Birding Optics Program (Reservations)
9 am to 5 pm – Nature Photography Exhibit – Lou DiVita’s artwork will be on display at the Visitor Center.

There will be free Bird Migration Poster give-a-ways while they last.
